Canada Winter forecast 1

Canada needs to prepare itself for yet another winter of extreme cold weather condition. Almost all the major cities across the country will witness some major cold weather. Storms are also in the kitty for the British Columbia and the Canadian Rockies this winter. Recurring snowstorms will also bang eastern Canada almost all throughout the winter.

Last year only mild weather conditions were expected with the whole country receiving below normal snowfall. But this winter snowfall is going to dominate the country with strong storms.

The weathermen said that the upcoming winter will likely be a stormy one across eastern and Atlantic Canada, especially during January and February. This pattern will lead to a higher probability of significant snowfall events from eastern Ontario through Quebec and into New Brunswick and Newfoundland.

Some of the Canada's largest cities such as Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City will also witness such unpleasant weather situations.

The tourism industry is hoping for a great season following heavy snow in early next year. Meanwhile, areas which are nearer to the ocean will see an amalgamation of snow ice and rain.

While winter is expected to start on a wet and snowy note across Canada. There is a change in the weather pattern expected which will be the basis for the frequency of storms to decrease heading into February and March.
