Halloween Canada

Trick-or-treaters in Toronto are in for some chilly and spookily calm weather this Halloween.

According to weatherman, people who are planning to go out in their costumes on Monday should expect seasonally cool but relatively mild weather. It will be chilly in few places but there are no big storms out there at all.

Areas in West Great Lakes, including the Prairies and British Columbia, may anticipate above seasonal temperatures, while regions in East Great Lakes, including Eastern Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic should expect below seasonal temperatures.

In Atlantic Canada, trick-or-treaters may have to wear a few extra layers as gusty winds and low temperatures will make for a chilly evening, but stable weather is likely for most parts of the country.

Those along the east coast of Newfoundland and parts of Nova Scotia will have to wait for rain and thundershowers, however, these rains will be light in nature, therefore will not affect citizens' Halloween plans.

In Southern Quebec, it will be cold but the skies will be mostly clear. Southern Ontario will have fairly mild Halloween temperatures, while Northern Ontario may witness a storm as a few episodes of rain is anticipated to track across the region from Timmins to Kenora.

Southern Manitoba may also receive some rain, but it is likely to clear by Monday evening, while Saskatchewan and Alberta will be cold, but calm.

In British Columbia, few light rainy spells are expected over the south coast of the region, including Vancouver, but then again these showers will not be heavy in nature.
