From what it looks like, nature has gone bonkers over countries like China, Taiwan and Japan. With the Super Typhoon Meranti lashing China and Taiwan and the recent Typhoon Megi claiming 4 lives, the weather activity doesn’t seem to stop over the region.

A fresh typhoon can be seen building up in the west Pacific Ocean. And this weather system could possibly be a risk to Japan, Taiwan and eastern China next week.

Chaba is presently brewing near Guam and is on track to become the next typhoon by the weekend. Chaba is likely to go further north than Megi and is expected to impact the region from northern Taiwan to Japan next week.

Places like Guam and Northern Mariana Islands will face heavy rain & squally winds from Chaba tonight. Some areas in the region can also face localized flash flooding.

The weathermen said, "Chaba will be in a favorable environment to gain more strength over the weekend and into early next week."

If the Typhoon Chaba shifts towards the land next week then the risk to lives and property will increase. The weathermen continued, "Impacts to land appear possible at some point during the early to middle part of next week."

The latest typhoon threat comes after Taiwan and eastern China are beginning to clean up after once-Typhoon Megi left five dead and more than 600 injured.
