An active Western Disturbance is likely to approach North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced cyclonic circulation can be seen over Pakistan and adjoining parts of Rajasthan. With this, fairly widespread snow may occur over North Jammu And Kashmir. In fact, isolated places may even witness heavy snowfall.

Rain and snow may also occur over rest parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and isolated parts of Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile, morning temperatures are likely to rise across the plains, while night temperatures will settle above normal. Delhi will witness moderate fog with few clouds.

Meanwhile, Central India will continue to witness dry and clear weather with bright sunshine on account of the anti-cyclone over the region. Northeast India will also have dry weather conditions with chances of moderate fog.

Down South, a cyclonic circulation is seen close to Sri Lankan Coast. Also, a trough is extending from this system up to South Tamil Nadu. In wake of this, rainfall activity is expected to intensify over southern parts of the state and adjoining Kerala. Andaman and Nicobar Islands will also continue with light to moderate rains.
