Jet Airways German Fighter Planes 1

Travelling via air planes does have its own ups and downs. With weather activity in higher reaches can cause turbulence to losing out on the connection with ground base, travelling via air planes is a safe risk that everyone takes.

Few days back an incredible image showed up and went viral on Facebook that showed two German Air Force (GAF) planes guiding a Jet Airways flight after it lost all connections with the ground. The Jet Airways flight was bound to London from Mumbai. Flight 9W-118 was carrying 330 passengers and 15 crew members.

The flight lost its connection for a while it was travelling over Cologne in Germany. As a precautionary measure, German Air Force fighter planes gaffed the flight to provide safety and guidance to the flight and passengers on it.

The footage was captured by the pilot of a British Airways flight which was trailing behind. Jet Airways pilots saw the GAF planes approaching; the pilots of both the planes talked over emergency frequencies as the plane was carried onto London.

Jet Airways has duly reported the incident to the concerned authorities.
