India And Sri Lanka T20I: Ranchi Clears Its Sky For The Second Match

February 12, 2016 1:32 PM |

bored_cricketAfter the surprising fallout of Indian Cricket Team in the first T20 International in Pune against Sri Lanka, the hometown of MS Dhoni’s has geared up to host the second T20 International match.

The recently built JSCA International Cricket Stadium in Ranchi will be hosting its first T20 International match.

Ranchi had some weather activity in the past few days. The nearby city Jamshedpur observed traces of rainfall.

The reason for the activity was the zone of confluence. Jharkhand in particular was a part of this zone. The winds from Indo-Gigantic plains and Bay of Bengal met over Jharkhand a few days back which resulted in some weather activity.

But the good news is that the zone of confluence has shifted towards the northern Odisha and southern West Bengal.

The weather conditions are likely to be okay in the region with day time temperatures in late 20s. But as the match would start the temperature would drop to 21-22 degree Celsius. One of the factors for such a change in temperature is that Ranchi is situated at an elevation of 3000 ft.

The weather will be slightly cooler as the match would progress. The sky will be clear. The overall temperature around the match will be around the comfortable 19-21 degree Celsius.

There will be no interruption weather wise during the game. The humidity levels will be on the moderate side. Overall, the situation will comfortable for match.

The only question is can MS Dhoni and boys can be at par with the Sri Lankan young brigade. The match commences at 07:30 pm.
