T1 and F1 Season Begins: Racy Weekend Ahead

Truck Racing Season and F1 2015 WeatherThe second season of the T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship will be flagged off this Sunday at the Buddh International Circuit. Visitors are gearing up for a six-lap sprint race, and an 18-lap combat, which will take place between non-Indian truck drivers of six teams over the weekend. The event will feature lighter and faster trucks with special focus on spreading information about trucks and related avenues.

A cloudy sky is expected to welcome truck racing enthusiasts at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida on Sunday. There are chances of light rain showers in the afternoon. Maximum temperature is expected to stick around 27°C while minimum temperature will settle around 16°C.

A total of 12 Tata Prima 4038.S sporting Cummins’ model trucks will belt out 370 bhp @ 2100 rpm at the venue. A 10% increase in top speed (notching 130 kmph now) along with a 10% increase in acceleration will spice things up a bit. Also, a 10% weight reduction has also been exercised for the second season. In addition to all this, alterations and modifications have been made to the brake cooling system, racing seats, steering wheel, fuel tank, exhaust, shaft guards, and other parts of the trucks.

2015 Formula One Season Commences

Meanwhile, in Melbourne, racing aficionados are gearing up for the Melbourne leg of the F1 Grands Prix 2015 season, which kick starts on Sunday. Weather in Melbourne is expected to remain partly cloudy with a 10% chance of a passing shower. A good breeze of about 20 to 25 kmph will continue to blow over the region from south direction.

F1 fans will be eying an intense battle between Mercedes partners Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. Moreover, Sebastian Vettel will begin his journey with Ferrari while Australia’s very own Daniel Ricciardo will also be looking to begin the season with an impressive finish at home. Simply speaking, it’s a busy weekend for all racing fans across the globe. The speed and thrill will simply zoom past you!
