Delhi Rains take a short break, more rainy spell expected

Delhi Rains 1

On Saturday morning, Delhi witnessed an amazing spell of Monsoon rain that kept the city’s pleasant weather conditions under check.

The weather systems that made weather in Delhi pleasant seem to have moved away for the time being. The Western Disturbance persists as an upper air trough over North Jammu & Kashmir and the axis of Monsoon trough passes through low-pressure area across Jodhpur, Sheopur, Rewa, Ranchi, Digha to East Central Bay of Bengal.

Due to these weather systems, the temperature will remain warm and humid for the next 24 hours. Isolated thundery development in some parts can be expected.

As the Monsoon trough is expected to move north and the Western Disturbance towards east, the clouding over Delhi will become thicker over the city and rain intensity will increase tomorrow onwards.

A pleasant breezy morning is expected on a mainly cloudy sky. Few spells of rain may affect some parts during next 24 hours. Temperatures will be in the range of 32°C-34°C with the rise of humidity expected over the region.

Moderate easterly winds will prevail over the city.
