Earth Hour 2016 or Ind vs Pak clash, which one do you chose? While Indians worship cricket and the players that surround it, when India meets Pakistan on the cricket battlefield, things take a different turn.

The chaotic, busy streets look deserted; shops are closed, and even the fitness freaks skip their daily routine for just once.

Gods are remembered way more than usually, even the most educated suddenly believe that wearing a particular shirt will make India win, and you finally get to see how united India is.

Tomorrow, March 19 is the day when India meets Pakistan in Kolkata; several controversies have surrounded the upcoming match. Security issues, change in venues, and statements from here and there has kept the excitement on the roof.

However, there is an enormous problem. Unfortunately, the iconic clash is coinciding with a major event, The Earth Hour. While the match begins at 7:30 pm, the Earth Hour takes place between 8:30-9:30 pm.

It’s the time when all electronic appliances are supposed to remain switched off for an hour for the improvement of our beloved planet.

With Climate Change happening for real, supporting the Earth Hour has become all the more important. However, how can cricket enthusiasts say a no to that one day of excitement and tension?

And its’ not the general public who may have been worried about the clash, celebs have also been tweeting ways to enjoy both the game and support the Earth Hour.

The legendary Amitabh Bachchan tweeted asking fans to unite and watch the match on a single screen. And why this wouldn’t be a splendid idea, the best thing one can do is watching a game with friends and make that extra effort in trying to save the planet.

While missing the game isn’t an option since it’s Pakistan on the other side, make sure that you switch off all the other appliances and watch the match together on a single screen. In fact, you can also listen to the commentary for that one hour if it isn’t too much to ask.
