The Western Disturbance lying over Jammu and Kashmir region has brought fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Isolated areas in Himachal Pradesh also observed heavy showers.

Before this spell of rain, many parts of Himachal Pradesh were reeling under heatwave like conditions. Temperatures have now come down to comfortable levels once again. This weekend would be a great time visit the hill stations of Himachal Pradesh.
