Hyderabad sizzles at 40 degrees, scorching heat to continueIt is just the end of March and weather gods have begun to send in some summer heat over several parts of the country. The southern areas of India have been observing very high temperatures. In fact, maximums have not shied away from crossing the 40-degree mark in many areas.

The city of nizams is one such city that has been witnessing extremely warm weather conditions for quite some time now. So much so that the region has been recording sky high maximums. Minimums have also been settling above the normal levels.

At present, the maximum in Hyderabad has reached 39.8 degrees which rounds of to 40 degree Celsius. This maximum happens to be at least three degrees above the normal levels. Other areas adjoining the capital city of Telangana have also been witnessing extremely high maximums.

These weather conditions are attributed to the absence of a significant weather system affecting the region. Not only this, warm northeasterly winds from the Bay of Bengal have been heating up the region resulting in an increase in the maximums.

During the coming days, the maximum temperatures of these areas will only increase. In fact, the possibility of a few records being broken cannot be ruled out.
