Vaishno Devi, the most holy shrine in the entire North India has visitors all year round. Regardless of the weather conditions, tourists flock the shrine. However, during the winter season, the number increases as snow clad mountains around the shrine are a sight that no one would want to miss.

During the last few days, the hilly states of North India have been witnessing rain and snow resulting in a blanket of snowfall over many parts. In fact, on Monday, snowfall also made an appearance in Vaishno Devi and its adjoining areas.

The shrine along with the way to the temple was covered in a blanket of white snow and pilgrims couldn’t have asked for more. It was a treat for the pilgrims and snowfall only added to the charm of the holiest shrine of North India.
