Overcast weather prevailing over coastal & peninsular region is favourable for the coconut plantations. Expected showers over coastal region will be helpful. Cyclone in parts of Orissa and Andhra affected some of the coconut plantations. In rest producing regions, coconut plantations remain under good condition. With increase in RH, attack of pests and diseases may rise.
