Rains to continue over Sindh, Balochistan for another 24 hours

The Pakistani nation has been witnessing dry and cold weather for the past few days. Moreover, the higher reaches have also been observing some snowfall activity while other areas have been seeing some rainfall activity.

The last 24 hours were slightly rainy for some parts of Pakistan. In fact, scattered rainfall was observed in parts of Sindh and Balochistan region including Karachi.

During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am (IST) on Monday, Ormara saw 18 mm of rain, Larkana 14 mm, Khuzdar 12 mm, Lasbella 10 mm, Moenjodaro 10 mm, Jiwani 7 mm, Gawadar 6 mm, Padidan 5 mm, Pasni 3 mm, and Sukkur 1 mm.

These rainfall activities can be attributed to the presence of a deep trough running northeast to southeast across the Balochistan region and is seen in the higher levels righ up to 300 millibars.

With this, thudnerclouds developed over Sindh and Balochistan region resulting in rains over these areas.

Now, these rain and thundershower activities are expected to continue ober parts of South and Central Sindh along with some areas of Balochistan for another 24 hours. Rainfall activity will range between light and moderate during this period.
