Cold weather to set in Dubai, Abu Dhabi as temperatures continue to plummet

Most of the UAE will be reeling under cool weather conditions as the temperatures plummet in the eastern areas of the country to beneath the 13°C on Wednesday. In fact, mist or haze was also reported in parts of Al Ain and Liwa today morning.

As per the Met Department, both Abu Dhabi and Dubai are expected to witness cloudy and hazy sky during the day. The daytime high may reach close to 22°C in both the aforementioned cities. UAE is all set to celebrate its National Day on December 2 and the weather experts predict that the nation will be celebrating its National Day amidst warm weather with slight cloud cover with the temperatures peaking up to 24°C.

The days are expected to remain humid with the possibility of fog or mist in some internal areas. Such a hazy and cloudy sky is anticipated to continue in the UAE until the weekend. Especially, the coastal and eastern areas of UAE will witness humid weather along with hazy sky.

On Tuesday, the highest maximum recorded on Tuesday was 31.1°C in Mezaira at 2:15 pm, while the lowest recorded on the same day was 9.9°C in Mebarh mountain at 4.45 am.

The sea will also become rough by the afternoon hours in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
