Excess rainfall and mild sunlight have affected wheat crop badly in France this year. Production is likely to decrease 30% to around 29 mt, the lowest after 1986. Dry weather had ruined the crop by 50%. Weather remained unfavorable during flowering and maturity stage. High moisture level in atmosphere too has encouraged pest attack.
