Yosemite Firefall 1

Other than being among the world leader, United States has many natural escapades that are waiting to be explored. One of them is Yosemite National Park. For a few days in February every year, the sun set makes a narrow sliver of light on a waterfall in the National Park. This sliver of sun ray makes the water glow orange and red and gives the illusion molten lava.

The wonder sight is popularly famous as "firefall" which manages to catch enough eyeballs of photographers to a spot near Horsetail Fall. But to reach the amazing sight is a challenge in itself.

Horsetail Fall only comes to life in winter or spring, when there is enough rain and snow. And what makes the falls even more special is the fact that sun lights up the waterfall for only about two minutes in evening for a few days in February.
