Weathermen expect hot and humid weather to prevail in most parts of the country. However, scattered rain and thunderstorm is expected over northern parts of Punjab. Intensity of these showers will be mainly light and one or two moderate spells cannot be ruled out over Islamabad and Lahore.

These rains could be the consequence of a Western Disturbance that is seen over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. The low pressure area which was persisting over Kutch and South Pakistan has become less marked.
