Tropical storm Ian to take a U turn and head towards BritainTropical storm Ian was expected to head towards the east coast of the United States. However, now, the weather models suggest that the storm is changing its course and is likely to move towards the United Kingdom.

Winds will gust up to 70 mph tomorrow in the mid-Atlantic. The coming weekend is expected to bring heavy rains along with gale in Britain and its adjoining areas.

Weather warnings have been issued for several areas in England as well as neighbouring parts for thunderstorms and strong winds. Storm Ian had developed about a thousand miles off the Bermuda coast and was heading towards Florida after Hurricane Hermine had already caused quite a destruction.

However, as per the National Hurricane Centre, the storm is expected to make an unexpected turn and head eastwards towards the United Kingdom.

Just about two days ago, the UK had witnessed the hottest day of the year. In fact, several heat records were broken. The storm will not cool things down. In fact, more warm weather is expected.

However, heavy rainfall is expected over many areas. In fact, the possibility of very heavy showers cannot be ruled out in the Northwest along with many parts of Liverpool and Manchester.
