Why Florida should be vary of Tropical Storm Nicole as well

October 7, 2016 2:04 PM |

Nicole - 1

As we all know, how badly Hurricane Matthew has battered Haiti, Cuba and has made some serious evacuation procedure in Florida. More than 260 people killed in Cuba and Haiti combined. Since the morning of Friday, strong winds are marching past the region of Florida coast and may as well result in one of the severe storm in recent years.

But the hope for the Matthew trauma to end soon doesn’t seem likely. Tropical Storm Nicole is already ratting Bermuda. With the strengths of a Category 2 Hurricane, meteorologists have confirmed that Tropical Strom Nicole is now Hurricane Nicole. This storm may very well join in with Mathew and prove to be more dangerous.

Just have a look at the trajectory of both the storms:

From what it looks after moving away from the Florida coast; Matthew will nudge past the storm Nicole. If things go as per the predictions, Matthew will become weak when it moves past Nicole.

At present, Hurricane Nicole has been located 340 miles south of Bermuda but it is currently stationary and then expected to move south. Over the past few days Nicole has been heading north towards Bermuda. But the sudden change in its direction, it does not pose a threat to the US at the moment.
