UFO to hit Indian Ocean on Nov 13 this year

October 27, 2015 1:26 PM |

UFO to land in Indian OceanThis one sounds like its coming straight from an apocalypse movie. On November 13, at approximately 6:15 am IST, an unidentified object will crash into the Indian Ocean.

The object, named WT1190F OR WTF, will hit the Indian Ocean 65 km off the southern coast of Sri Lanka. But there’s absolutely no need to expect a visit from any extra-terrestrial as this object is basically ‘space trash’.

There’s a lot of space junk simply floating out there in space. Several man-made pieces of trash are gliding around our planet and WTF is going to be the first ever to collide with Earth. It is about seven feet long, and as per the European Space Agency (ESA), poses very little risk to anyone.

Scientists believe that this object could be anything. It can either be a piece of rocket from some recent lunar mission, or a part of the 40-year-old Apollo spacecraft. After studying the object’s movement, scientists have concluded that this unidentified object is hollow inside.

There’s a lot of space debris circling the Earth at present. This includes spent rockets, old satellites, and fragments from erosions and collisions. When viewed from space, the Earth is dotted with space junk. The near-Earth orbit is extremely crowded and some of these junks are capable of getting burnt during re-entry. 'WTF' does not pose any danger but the same cannot be said about future re-entries of space junk.
