To begin with North India, the fresh Western Disturbance lies over North Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced cyclonic circulation is seen over Northwest Rajasthan. A trough is extending from this circulation up to Southwest Uttar Pradesh. Due to these systems, light to moderate rains are likely over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Isolated snowfall may also occur over the higher reaches. Dust storm and thunderstorm will occur in parts of Rajasthan, North Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR.
In East/Northeast India, a trough is extending from Bihar to Manipur across West Bengal. Thus, we expect light to moderate rain and thundershowers over parts of Northeast India, Sikkim, West Bengal and Odisha. Jharkhand and East Bihar may also witness isolated rains.
Moving towards Central India, a trough is extending across Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. Therefore, scattered rain and thundershowers with isolated dust storm may occur in parts of Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada and Chhattisgarh. Weather in Gujarat and Rajasthan will remain dry and very hot.
In South India, Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Coastal Andhra Pradesh will receive rain and thundershowers over few places. Weather in Tamil Nadu will remain dry.
