The Low-Pressure Area is over Northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining parts. The Monsoon Trough is extending from Punjab to Northeast Bay of Bengal across this Low-Pressure Area. Hence, moderate to heavy rains will be a sight over West Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal, Guna, Shivpuri, Ujjain and Ratlam will see good rains. While light to moderate rains with few heavy spells will be seen over East Rajasthan, Konkan and Goa. Whereas, scattered rains will be seen over South Gujarat, North Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha.
Light rains will be a sight over Chhattisgarh. On the other hand Mumbai to witness light rains with one or two moderate spells in parts.
Monsoon is still active over Kerala and adjoining Coastal Karnataka, therefore, moderate to heavy rains will continue over North Kerala and adjoining parts of South Coastal Karnataka. Interior Tamil Nadu adjacent to Kerala might see few moderate spells. Amidst this, scattered light rains can be seen over Interior Karnataka and Telangana including Hyderabad. While the weather in Andhra Pradesh will be nearly dry with light rains. Bengaluru and Chennai might see light rains in some parts.
Andaman and Nicobar along with Lakshadweep Islands may also receive moderate rains with one or two heavy spells.
Moving to North, wherein the axis of Monsoon Trough is still North of its normal position. Hence, light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells are possible over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and North Punjab. Whereas short spells of rains will also occur over remaining parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan.
Meanwhile the rain activities will now recede from East India. Scattered light rains will be seen over Odisha, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal. However, light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells will be seen over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and parts of Bihar. Bhagalpur, Purnia may receive moderate rains with patchy rains over Patna and Gaya.
East Uttar Pradesh may also receive scattered light rains.
