A Low-Pressure Area is over South-central Uttar Pradesh and the Axis of Monsoon Trough is extending from Haryana to North Bay of Bengal across this Low-Pressure Area, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha. In wake of these systems, we expect light to moderate rains over Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada.
One or two heavy spells are also possible over West Madhya Pradesh.
Raipur, Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh; Bhopal, Indore, Guna in Madhya Pradesh while Nagpur, Akola in Maharashtra might see good rains.
Whereas, light scattered rains can be seen over Southeast Rajasthan and rest of Maharashtra. Mumbai will see nearly dry weather. And, Gujarat might see almost dry weather conditions with isolated light rains.
In the eastern parts of the country, we expect Monsoon to be active over East Uttar Pradesh. Scattered moderate rains with isolated heavy spells can be seen over Kanpur, Varanasi and Sultanpur. Light to moderate rains are also possible over parts of Odisha and Jharkhand. While Bihar and West Bengal may see scattered light rains.
Whereas scattered light to moderate rains is possible over Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
Down South, a feeble off-shore Trough is extending from Coastal Karnataka to Kerala. Thus, light to moderate rains are possible over Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, and parts of Telangana. Monsoon will remain subdued over rest places. However, light rains are possible over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Interior Karnataka.
Finally, in North, the weather of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan will be dry. However, patchy light rains cannot be ruled out in these places. Rains will now reduce over Himachal Pradesh, but Uttarakhand might see few moderate spells.
