A Low –Pressure Area has developed and is over North Odisha. Therefore, we expect moderate to heavy rains with one or two very heavy spells over Odisha. Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, and Rayagada will see these rain activities. While moderate rains can be seen over Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal with scattered light rains over Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, and Northeast India. However, rains will be isolated over East Uttar Pradesh.
Under the influence of Low-Pressure Area and a Trough which is extending from East Rajasthan to this Low, will give moderate rains with one or two heavy spells over Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh. Jagdalpur, Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Jabalpur, Umaria, Mandla will get affected by these rain activities. Whereas scattered light to moderate rains will be seen over Gujarat region, North Konkan and Goa including Mumbai, rest Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan and parts of Vidarbha.
Whereas, moderate to heavy rains will be seen over South Konkan and Goa.
Up in the North, a Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab. A Trough is extending from this system up to South Haryana. Hence, few good spells are possible over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh. While moderate spells with one or two heavy spells will be seen over parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand with scattered rains over Jammu and Kashmir. Weather over Ladakh will be dry.
Finally, down South, Monsoon will now revive in Kerala and moderate rains with one or two heavy spells can be seen over Kerala, Coastal Karnataka and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Light to moderate rains will be seen over Telangana, Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands, with just light rains over interior Karnataka. Whereas isolated spells will be seen over Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu.
