The Deep Depression is over Odisha which would result in moderate to heavy rains with one or two very heavy spells over South Odisha. Light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells can be seen over rest Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and southern districts of Jharkhand. Places like Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada and Kalahandi in Odisha will be impacted by these rains.
Moderate rains at few places of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh can be a sight. While rest Northeast India, parts of Bihar will witness scattered light rains with isolated light rains over East Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile in Central India, a Trough can be seen running from Southeast Rajasthan to Deep Depression across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Therefore, vigorous Monsoon conditions are expected over South Chhattisgarh and South Madhya Pradesh. Whereas light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells will be seen over Vidarbha, parts of Marathwada, Konkan and Goa and adjoining parts of Madhya Maharashtra, remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Southeast Rajasthan. Jagdalpur, Sukma, Dantewada and Bijapur in South Chhattisgarh while Mandla, Seoni, Chhindwara, Bhopal, Indore, Dewas, and Betul in South Madhya Pradesh are likely to see heavy to very heavy rains.
While light to moderate rains will be seen over Gujarat region with solely light rains at one or two places of Saurashtra and Kutch.
Down South, an off shore Trough is running from South Gujarat to North Kerala and the Monsoon surge is also active. Hence, moderate to heavy rains will continue over Coastal Karnataka and Kerala with light to moderate rains over North Interior Karnataka. However, scattered light rains will be seen over South Interior Karnataka and isolated light rains will be seen over Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema.
Light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells may occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and parts of Telangana, Lakshadweep Islands and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Finally, up in the North, short spells of rain and thundershowers are expected over North Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. Whereas light to moderate rains with isolated heavy spells will be seen over West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand with light rains over Jammu and Kashmir.
