As the Western Disturbance is moving away, rains and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will now reduce significantly, and isolated weather activities may be seen.The plains of Northwest India will observe mainly dry and cool winds coming from north and northwest direction. Thus, the morning temperatures will now drop by two to four degrees in the next two to three days.
Dense fog with very dense in pockets may be seen in the parts of Northwest plains.
Delhi will witness dense fog during the morning hours with a drop in minimums. The pollution level will marginally improve and will be in moderate to poor category. A Cyclonic Circulation lies over Central Uttar Pradesh and a Trough is extending from this system to the northeast states across the foothills of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal.
Meanwhile in the eastern parts of the country wherein in wake of mixing of two air masses, Jharkhand, South Bihar adjoining East Uttar Pradesh and adjoining West Bengal and Odisha will receive light rain and thundershower activities with one or two moderate spells expected in Jharkhand.
Moderate fog may be observed over plains of Bihar, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal. While the rain and thundershower activities are likely over Arunachal Pradesh, East Assam and Nagaland.Heading to Central India, light rain and thundershowers will be seen over east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and adjoining North Maharashtra.
Morning fog may be seen over Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh.In South, light to moderate rain and thundershowers is likely over the interior parts of Tamil Nadu with light spells to be seen over South Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.Whereas isolated rain activities will be seen over Telangana and adjoining Andhra Pradesh.
