Beginning with Central India, a Confluence Zone has formed over Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, therefore, we expect, scattered rain and thundershower activities in many parts of Maharashtra as well as Central and East Madhya Pradesh. Chhattisgarh may also observe scattered light showers. Isolated hailstorm activity is likely in Vidarbha and Marathwada. Nagpur, Akola, Nashik, Pune and Mumbai are likely to see rains. On the other hand, weather of Rajasthan and Gujarat may remain almost dry. Minimums may increase in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
Down South, we expect rainfall activities to increase in Tamil Nadu. However, Chennai may observe light rains only. Scattered light to moderate rains are possible over Interior Tamil Nadu as well as parts of Karnataka and Kerala. On the other hand, weather of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will be dry. However, isolated thundery activity is expected in Rayalaseema. City-wise,Bengaluru may see light rain but Hyderabad will be dry.
In North and Northwest India, dry and cold winds will continue. We expect a further drop in minimums of Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan and Delhi. Cold day conditions will persist in most parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and in one or two parts of West Uttar Pradesh as well as North Rajasthan. Meanwhile, weather of hills will be dry and sunny. Delhi pollution will remain in poor to very poor category.
Talking about East and Northeast India, due to the confluence zone, we expect, isolated light rain or thundery activities in parts of Jharkhand. However, weather of East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha and West Bengal will be dry. Isolated rain may occur over the hills of Arunachal Pradesh. Rest northeast India will be dry.
