Beginning with the weather over North India A Western Disturbance lies over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced upper air cyclonic circulation is seen over East Central Pakistan and adjoining parts of Northwest Rajasthan. Due to the presence of these systems, light to moderate rain and thundershower with squally winds will affect parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Short spell of dust storm and thundershower are also expected over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan and Southwest Uttar Pradesh.
Moving to the weather in East and Northeast India A cyclonic circulation is seen over Bihar and adjoining Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. An upper air trough is extended from this system to Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura across Bangladesh. Thus, light to moderate rain will be seen over the northeastern states. A trough is also extending from Jharkhand which will give rains over South Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha.

Further in Central India A trough extends to South Madhya Maharashtra across Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha. Due to these systems, rain with squally winds will continue over parts of Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, South Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Lastly in South India An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over South Madhya Maharashtra and adjoining North Interior Karnataka. A trough is seen extending from this system to coastal parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Due to these, light to moderate rain at some places is expected over Kerala and western parts of Tamil Nadu while Karnataka may receive light rain. Dry weather will prevail over rest of the region.
Talking about the weather across major cities of India Delhi will witness a hot day with partly cloudy sky, along with chances of dust storm and thunderstorm. Warm and humid day will prevail over Kolkata, sky here will remain cloudy with chances of thundershower activity.

Mumbai is expected to witness a warm and humid day. Meanwhile, Hyderabad will remain very warm with cloudy sky and chances of thundershowers. Warm weather with partly cloudy sky is likely over Bengaluru, along with chances of light rain.
