To begin with South India, the trough of low is extending from Equatorial Ocean to South Interior Karnataka across Interior Tamil Nadu. Due to this system, light to moderate rains are likely over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka and Coastal Karnataka.
Up in North India, a feeble Western Disturbance is moving across northern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Therefore, the sky will remain cloudy to partly cloudy over the hills of North India. However, short spell of light rain and snow over isolated places in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir cannot be ruled out. Due to the prevalence of dry and cold northwesterly winds, dry weather along with moderate fog will prevail over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Prdaesh and North Rajasthan.
Moving to Central India, dry and cold air mass is continuing over the central parts of India. Thus, dry weather with pleasant day and cold nights is likely to continue over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh.

Lastly in east/northeast India, the seasonal cyclonic circulation persists over East Bangladesh and South Assam. Due to which, dry and cold winds are blowing over the northeastern states. Hence, pleasant day with few clouds and cold night will continue over northeastern states. However, isolated pockets of Arunachal Prdaesh may witness light rain. Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha will continue with dry weather. Meanwhile, during the morning hours, moderate fog will occur over many places over these states.
