Moving to Central India, Cyclone Ockhi has dissipated and is seen as a trough over South Gujarat and adjoining northwest Arabian Sea. We expect only isolated light rains over parts of Gujarat now. Meanwhile, sky conditions will be cloudy to partly cloudy over West Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Rajasthan, but weather will remain dry. In fact, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha will also witness dry weather conditions.

Talking about East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation persists over Mizoram and adjoining regions. However, we do not expect any weather activity as moisture feed is unavailable in east and northeast parts of the country. In wake of the depression in Bay of Bengal Gangetic West Bengal may witness isolated light rains.
