The Western Disturbance continues to affect Jammu and Kashmir. With this, light to moderate rain and snow will continue over many parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and parts of Uttarakhand. Few places may also record one or two heavy spells of snow. The intensity is likely to increase further by February 19.
The system has also induced a cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan, which has led to cloudy weather over entire northwestern plains including places such as Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh and Lucknow. However, weather will remain dry, with marginal rise in minimum temperatures.
The anti-cyclone continues to persist over Gujarat, which keep the weather hot over Gujarat and Rajasthan as temperatures will settle well above the normal average temperatures.
These hot weather conditions will also extend up to the West Coast, including Konkan & Goa region and Kerala. Mumbai will continue to witness hot and humid weather conditions will above normal day maximums.
Meanwhile, weather over rest parts of the country will remain mainly dry.
