Let’s begin with the weather over North; a fresh Western Disturbance will start affecting Jammu and Kashmir. This system will give scattered light to moderate rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, while isolated rain and snow is also expected over Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, Uttarakhand will witness cloudy sky conditions.
Dry northwesterly winds will continue to prevail over the northwestern plains. So, the weather will remain dry and warm over the entire region. Minimum temperatures are expected to increase marginally over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh.
Delhi will witness a warm and sunny day. Lucknow will observe a warm day and pleasant night. Jaipur will have a warm day and cool night.
Moving to Central India, after a slight drop in maximums over Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh day temperatures will once again rise over these areas. Meanwhile, maximums will remain above the normal levels over Gujarat, Vidarbha and Marathwada regions of Maharashtra. The weather over Mumbai will stay very warm and humid.
Talking about the weather over East and Northeast India, a trough is extending from West Assam up to Odisha coast. With this, scattered light to moderate rain is expected over parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Isolated rain is also expected over Sikkim.
The remaining parts of Northeast India would settle with dry weather. Similar weather conditions will persist over the eastern states. The day is expected to stay very warm over Odisha.
Kolkata is likely to have a warm and humid day, with partly cloudy sky conditions. Patna will observe a warm and sunny day.
Lastly in South India, a feeble trough is seen extending from Coastal Tamil Nadu up to Sri Lanka. With this, we expect isolated rains to occur over southern portion of Tamil Nadu, while the weather over Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will remain dry and warm.
The city of Bengaluru will witness a warm day. Likewise, Hyderabad would observe a warm day and pleasant night. Lastly, Chennai will observe sunny and humid weather.
