Weather Forecast for Jan 26: Rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand.

Beginning with North India, where a feeble Western Disturbance lies over northern parts of Pakistan. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation lies over East-central Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan. Light spells of rain or snow will be occurring at some places over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and hills of Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, sky will remain partly cloudy over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. One or two places in Rajasthan might receive some rains. Shallow fog is likely over these places in the morning hours.

Coming on to Central India, where mostly dry weather is being forecast. Morning will remain cold and hazy over Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. A bright sunny day awaits these states.

Talking about ast and Northeast India. Here dry northwesterly cold winds are prevailing over eastern parts. Moderate fog and mist will prevail during morning hours over Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Also, a Cyclonic Circulation lies over northern parts of Bangladesh due to which light rains are expected at one or two places over Arunachal Pradesh, upper Assam, and Meghalaya.
Lastly in South India, where mostly dry and warm weather is likely to continue over most parts of Southern states. Nights will be pleasant. Kerala and Karnataka will see a very warm afternoon.
