A cyclonic circulation is seen over Southeast Bay of Bengal. This will give light to moderate rains over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, with one or two heavy spells.
A trough is extending from this system up to Maldives, but no significant change in weather condition is foreseen. Most parts of South Peninsula will remain dry.
Another cyclonic circulation is marked over Bihar and one more over Chhattisgarh. With the combined effect of these weather systems, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely at many places over Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh. Few places over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Northeast Madhya Pradesh may also receive some spells of rain.
Meanwhile, dry and cold northwesterly winds will continue to blow over northern and central plains of the country. Punjab, parts of Haryana, North Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh may witness moderate to dense fog during next 24 hours.
A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to approach Western Himalayas. This may give light rain and snow over some parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
