In North, a Western Disturbance is seen over North Jammu and Kashmir. This would give scattered light to moderate rains over the state, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Central Pakistan is under the influence of an induced cyclonic circulation. Moreover, a trough is extending from North Punjab to East India. Due to these weather systems, foothills of Punjab and West Uttar Pradesh may receive moderate showers over few places, while subdued rains are likely over other parts of Punjab and Haryana. North Rajasthan will record isolated light rain, while the remaining parts of the state will remain dry.
Coming to east & northeast region, a cyclonic circulation is seen over East Bihar, a trough extends from this system with its one arm reaching Manipur and the other up to North Bay of Bengal. With this, heavy to very heavy rains are expected over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, parts of Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and northeastern states. Parts of Odisha could also see light rains.

Moving to Central India, East Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh may witness moderate showers over few places, while light rains may occur over parts of West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and rest of Chhattisgarh. Most parts of Gujarat will remain dry.
Down South, an off shore trough is seen extending from South Gujarat to North Kerala. With this, light to moderate rains will continue over many places of Coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa and few parts of Kerala.

Isolated light rains are also possible over Madhya Maharashtra, Interior Karnataka and Coastal Tamil Nadu. While, the weather will remain dry over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana and other parts of Tamil Nadu.
Talking about the major cities of India, Mumbai and Kolkata will continue to record light to moderate rains, while Lucknow will receive heavy showers. Delhi, in the meanwhile may see some thundery activity with light rains.
