Monsoon remains vigorous over Konkan & Goa and active over coastal Karnataka. Due to this, moderate to heavy rains may continue along the West Coast over Konkan and Goa including Mumbai, coastal Karnataka. South Gujarat will also see some good rains. Scattered rainfall is also expected to occur over North Interior Karnataka and rest parts of Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, Monsoon will remain subdued over Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
A low pressure area has formed over West Central Bay of Bengal. With this, we may expect scattered rainfall over coastal Andhra Pradesh.
A trough is running from this system up to another cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and Punjab, which has been induced by a Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir.

While this Western Disturbance will give light to moderate rain over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and light rains over Uttarakhand, the circulation and trough will bring isolated dust storm and thundershower activities over North Rajasthan and adjoining West Haryana and Punjab.
Western parts of Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Southeast Rajasthan may see some rain and thundershower.
Meanwhile, Delhi/NCR and most parts of Uttar Pradesh are expected to remain hot and dry.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
Moving to East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Bihar and adjoining areas. With this, we expect light to moderate rains over eastern parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and northeastern states. Odisha may also receive light rainfall at one or two places.
