A Western Disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir. With this, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected over several areas of the state, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
This system has induced a cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Due to this, northern parts of Punjab will receive good spells of rain. West Uttar Pradesh and parts of Haryana may also record scattered rain activity. Meanwhile, isolated light rains are expected over Delhi and North Rajasthan.
Moving to Central India, a trough is extending from Madhya Pradesh up to Tamil Nadu. With this, scattered rain and thundershowers are likely over Vidarbha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Bangalore will see isolated light rain.
Another trough is seen from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to Odisha. Due to this, light to moderate rain is expected over Gangetic West Bengal including Kolkata and parts of Odisha. Northeastern states will continue with scattered rain activity.
