Weather Forecast for May 24: Rain in Bengaluru, Kerala; hot weather in Chennai, Delhi

The Western Disturbance is moving away but will continue to give scattered rains over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Now, weather of Northwest Plains will become dry. However, isolated dust storm and thunderstorm is possible over Rajasthan. Delhi will remain dry and hot with increasing temperatures will once again rise further.

Coming to Central India, Heatwave conditions will increase over heat laden areas of East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Interior Odisha.

Coming to East, a cyclonic circulation is over Bihar. A trough is also extending from this system. Scattered light rains will continue over Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim along with Northeast India.

Isolated rains are possible over foothills of North Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and few parts of Odisha.

Down South, a trough is extending up to Tamil Nadu across Andhra Pradesh. Isolated rain and thundershowers may occur over Andhra Pradesh. Good rains are likely over South Karnataka, Kerala and Interior Tamil Nadu. Bengaluru may receive few showers but Chennai will remain hot and dry.

The cyclonic circulation over Southeast Bay may intensify further and give good rains over Andaman and Nicobar Islands as well as Lakshadweep.
