Weather Forecast for Nov 21: Relief from Delhi Pollution continues, Rain in Chennai, TN, Kerala

The Western Disturbance is moving away eastwards. So, isolated light rain and snow are expected over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

Meanwhile, dry and cold winds will continue to blow over the entire northwestern plains. In wake of this, pollution levels over Delhi and NCR are not anticipated to increase. Moreover, both maximum and minimums may fall further over the entire region.

Moving to Central India, the region will remain dry with clear sky and bright sunshine. However scattered clouds are expected South Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada.

Talking about East and Northeast India weather, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal will continue to be dry. Isolated rain may occur over South Coastal Odisha, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

In South India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Andaman Sea and a trough is extending over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas. With this, scattered light to moderate rains are possible over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The city of Chennai is also expected to witness light spells.

Another trough is seen running from North Kerala up to Konkan and Goa. This would give scattered light rains over Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala.
