The Western Disturbance prevailing over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir region will bring fairly widespread rain and snowfall over Jammu and Kashmir. Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will also receive some rains. This could lead significant drop in day temperatures over the region. Foothills of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR could also receive some light rainfall. Weather will clear out by the later part of the day.
Central and Eastern parts of the country will witness clear sky conditions and remain mainly dry, in view of this anti cyclone.
Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh could receive some scattered light rainfall, in view of this trough.
The well-marked low pressure area over East-central Arabian Sea could possible intensify into a depression, moving away from the coast. Nevertheless, the system will bring some light rain over coastal Karnataka, Konkan & Goa. Coming to the interiors of South India, the trough extending from Karnataka up to Tamil Nadu will bring scattered rains over South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and adjoining Kerala.
