A Low Pressure area is prevailing over Bihar and adjoining Jharkhand. In wake of this weather system, moderate to heavy rain is likely over East Bihar, East Jharkhand, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. While, scattered light rain is possible over remaining parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and Northeastern states.
In Central India, a trough is extending from the Low Pressure area to Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Due to this weather system, we expect light to moderate rain over Chhattisgarh, South Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathawada. Meanwhile, weather across Rajasthan, Gujarat and West Madhya Pradesh will remain dry.
Talking about South India, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over North Konkan and Goa. Due to this weather system moderate rain with or two heavy spells are likely over North Konkan and Goa and North Madhya Maharashtra. Light to moderate with one or two heavy spells may also occur over Telangana, Rayalaseema and Interior Karnataka. Meanwhile, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Coastal Tamil Nadu may also receive scattered light to moderate rains and Kerala and Coastal Karnataka only light rainfall activity.

Moving to Northwest India, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and remaining northwestern plains will remain dry and warm.
