With this, widespread moderate to heavy rains are likely over West Bengal and Odisha. Gusty winds are also anticipated over the regions. Scattered moderate showers are also possible over Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. Light to moderate spells may occur over Bihar and adjoining East Uttar Pradesh.
Moderate rains at scattered places may occur over the region. Rains are likely to increase over Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim in next 24 to 48 hours.
