A low pressure area is seen lying over Meghalaya and adjoining parts of South Assam. This weather system is likely to move in east-northeast direction and will soon fizzle out into a cyclonic circulation. With this, light to moderate rain may occur with few heavy spells over Upper Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
A feeble trough is also extending from this system up to Lakshadweep region across Gangetic West Bengal, South Odisha, South Chhattisgarh, North Telangana and North Interior Karnataka. This would give light rain over parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
