Weather Forecast for Oct 29: Rain in Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Pollution in Delhi to be high

Starting with East, a fresh low pressure is expected to develop during next 24 hours over central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal. Due to this, Coastal Odisha would witness moderate rain with strong winds. The interior parts of the state and Gangetic West Bengal may too observe light rains.

Meanwhile, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura would see scattered light showers. There is a likelihood of thunderstorm in South Jharkhand. The remaining eastern and northeastern states would continue with dry weather.

Up North, dry northwesterly winds would continue to prevail and hence hills would have pleasant weather with cool mornings followed by sunny days. The plains would witness hazy misty mornings with dry weather. The pollution in Delhi and adjoining regions would remain on the higher side.

Moving onto Central region, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and most of Maharashtra will see dry and cool hazy mornings. The coastal parts of Maharashtra would observe hot day conditions with maximums between 35-37 degrees.

Finally South, light rain is expected in isolated pockets of Tamil Nadu and Kerala with chance of thunderstorms in parts of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Remaining Southern regions would remain dry with likelihood of mist and haze along the coastal parts of Karnataka and Kerala.
