Weather Forecast for Sep 14: Rain in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru; Delhi to be dry

Let’s start with North India weather conditions first, a feeble Western Disturbance is seen over North Pakistan. Also, the axis of Monsoon trough is running across the northern plains close to the foothills of Himalayas.

As of now, no significant weather activity is foreseen in wake of these weather systems and dry weather will continue over the hilly states as well as northwestern plains of India.

Moving to east and northeast regions, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Bangladesh and adjoining North Bay of Bengal.

With this, scattered light rain to moderate rain is likely over northeastern states, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Gangetic West Bengal. Light rain is also possible over parts of Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha.

Coming to Central India, a cyclonic circulation is over Vidarbha and adjoining areas. So, good rains are likely over South Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Chhattisgarh.

Another cyclonic circulation is seen over Southwest Rajasthan and adjoining Pakistan and a trough is extending from this system up to North Konkan. Thus, scattered rains are possible over Gujarat, Konkan and Goa and Madhya Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, parts of Telangana and North Interior Karnataka may see moderate rains with one or two heavy spells. Coastal Karnataka and Kerala will witness light to moderate rains and light rain may occur over Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Talking about major cities of India, Hyderabad will witness moderate rains, whereas Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata would record light showers. Delhi will continue to remain warm and sunny.
