Talking about the weather conditions across India, a Western Disturbance is persisting over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. And the axis of Monsoon trough is running across Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. As the weather systems are not very active, weather is expected to remain dry over the entire Northwestern plains as well as the hill of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
In central India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas due to this weather system, we expect good rains over most parts of Chhattisgarh and many parts of Madhya Pradesh. Vidarbha and North Madhya Maharashtra may also witness few moderate spells of rain.
Talking about East and Northeast India, moderate easterly winds are blowing over eastern parts of the country. We expect scattered light to moderate rains over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Monsoon will remain subdued over Assam, Meghalaya and Andhra Pradesh. One or two moderate spells are also possible over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha.

Down South, ongoing heavy rainfall along the West Coast will reduce gradually but light to moderate rains will continue over Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. Kerala and Interior Karnataka will also receive light Monsoon showers. Meanwhile, weather of Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema as well as southern parts of Telangana will remain almost dry.

Talking about the Major cities of India, Mumbai is likely to witness good rains and Kolkata light rains. Meanwhile, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi and Bengaluru will witness dry weather conditions.
