To begin with North India, in wake of the Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir and its induced cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and adjoining West Rajasthan, we expect light to moderate rain and snow with few heavy spells over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh along with isolated pockets of Uttarakhand. Isolated rains may also occur over foothills of Punjab.
Weather of Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh will remain dry with slight increase in minimums. Isolated thundery activities or light rain may even occur over West Rajasthan. Pollution levels will remain in poor category.
Moving to Central India, Cold Wave conditions are expected to continue over isolated pockets of Vidarbha and North Madhya Maharashtra. We expect marginal increase in minimums over Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
In East/Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is over South Assam. Therefore, isolated light rain may occur over Arunachal Pradesh. Weather over rest of Northeast India will remain dry. East India will also witness dry weather. However, minimums of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand may increase marginally.

Lastly in south, an Anti-Cyclone is now seen over Andhra Pradesh and adjoining region. Therefore, weather over entire Southern Peninsula will remain dry. Minimums will increase marginally over Karnataka, Telangana and parts of Andhra Pradesh.
