Beginning with North India, where a Western Disturbance lies over North Pakistan and adjoining areas. It induced Cyclonic Circulation lies over West Rajasthan. Thus, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are likely to see light rains and snowfall at some places. While, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh will remain dry. Fog is likely to prevail over these areas during the early morning hours. Day will be partly cloudy with pleasant weather conditions. Delhi might see a slight rise in day and night temperatures.
Coming on to Central India, where light winds are blowing all over the region. Shallow to moderate fog might appear during morning hours over North Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh. Day will be slightly comfortable with a mainly sunny sky over most parts. A slightly warmer afternoon ahead for Mumbai.
Talking about East India where Northwesterly cool winds are blowing over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and parts of Odisha. Moderate to dense fog might prevail during cold morning. Apart from this, a Cyclonic Circulation lies over eastern parts of Assam. Due to this, Arunachal Pradesh will see light to moderate rain and snow. While upper Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur and Mizoram will see light rains at one or two places. A pleasant day ahead for Kolkata.
Lastly in South India, where moist winds are blowing straight from the Bay of Bengal. Hence, light rains may occur at isolated places over coastal parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka. Otherwise other parts of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh and Telangana are likely to remain dry. Similar weather ahead for Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad with a partly cloudy sky.
