February 28, 2019 9:46 PM |

A fresh Western Disturbance can be seen over North Afghanistan and adjoining areas. The same system has also induced a Cyclonic Circulation down South. A trough from this system is extending up to East Rajasthan. These systems will bring along scattered rain and snow over Jammu-Kashmir and over isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Also, isolated rains are possible over northern parts of Punjab as well as over western parts of Rajasthan. Rest places will witness clouding which will lead to increased night temperatures.

Now coming to central India, an anti-cyclone can be seen over southern parts of Chhattisgarh. Weather will remain clear with sunny skies over entire Central India. Night temperatures may see a marginal rise over most parts.

Coming on to East India, which is witnessing ongoing rain and thundershower at present. These rains will now subside, and weather is expected to clear up. Isolated light rains will however continue in the Nagaland, Meghalaya, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

In South India, weather will remain dry over most parts of Karnataka and Kerala. However, due to humid winds from Bay of Bengal, we expect light rains at few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
